Being from the Portland area, there are a lot of nice event spaces to have weddings. We were invited to a wedding on the 4th of July up at the Vue that promised live band, food and front row seat to the fireworks. I think that was the best wedding, combo with 4th of July I have ever went to. It was a kick.
When you land at the Vue you walk into an unpretentious door that says the Vue into a small lobby. There are signs from the front door all the way into the elevator that welcomes you to the event you are attending and what floor you should get off on. Up to this point, it was okay. We had no idea what was coming. This wedding ceremony was on the 6th and when the elevator door opened there is where my mouth started to drop. I thought I was up in Portland somewhere. Fireplace going, some cow hide soft seating to sit on as they served some refreshments as we waited for the ceremony to start. Gorgeous view from up there...

My wedding reception was held at Vue on June 24th, 2010. The venue was the perfect setting to create the atmosphere we were going for: classy, elegant, sophisticated... One glance and anyone would agree!
It was recommended to me as "THE" place to have a wedding reception in Corvallis and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others looking for an upscale environment to host a group.
Heather, our special event coordinator was invaluable to us in planning our wedding celebration. She went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, our schedule and budget. Most importantly, she really worked to make our vision come to life. She is creative, resourceful and highly organised.
Better than my husband and I could ever have envisioned, the night was flawless, largely due to this incredible, wonderful and dedicated woman. She sure knows her stuff!
Thank you to Heather and Vue for making our wedding day far beyond our expectations..."perfect".
